BLAST Open London 2025 – Day 6

Day 6 of BLAST Open London 2025 has come to a close. We finally see the teams that will be attending the playoffs at the OVO Arena in Wembley, London. Set to battle it out, teams will fight to lift that trophy and win the $150,000 winning prize money.

BLAST London 2025 Day 6

FaZe vs Vitality

FaZe and Vitality had their match-up to decide who would be heading straight to the semi-finals of the BLAST Open London 2025. After the recent signing of jcobbb for FaZe, this is the first time the two teams meet with the new addition. In a crazy game of back and forth for rounds, the first two maps went to two whole OT’s with FaZe winning the first map of Mirage on OT and Vitality winning on Nuke on OT. This left the decider map of Inferno. Vitality have always played a very strong Inferno, which showed here as they were able to stomp the side of FaZe 13-5 securing their spot directly in the semi-finals. FaZe still attend the playoff stage but however have to play an extra game.

Fnatic vs M80

Fnatic and M80 were two lower tier teams to face each other here to determine who would just miss out on the playoffs of BLAST London 2025. Fnatic put up a great fight at the beginning, however, M80 were able to close out the first map 13-8. Going into Train, Fnatic were able to take the leading team all the way to OT. However, they really struggled to close out the final rounds, allowing M80 to secure the easy 2-0 win over them in the series. Fnatic are now eliminated and M80 head to London to the Playoffs in the OVO Arena.

MOUZ vs FURIA

MOUZ and FURIA went head to head in their semi-final deciding game at BLAST Open London 2025. FURIA played incredibly well, they showed us what a great team can look like. They were playing off of each other, communicating well and calling well also. They were able to beat MOUZ, the second best team in the world, 13-7 and took them to OT on Mirage, beating them 16-14 to secure their slot in the semi-finals of BLAST Open London 2025. MOUZ will have to fight an extra day to see if they can return to the semis.

G2 Esports vs Team Spirit

G2 and Spirit battled it out to see who would be exiting the tournament before playoffs commence. Spirit have come off the back of winning BLAST Bounty and Cologne, whereas G2 have had pretty terrible results as of recent. However, on their first map of Mirage, G2 were up 8-2 against Spirit. Unfortunately for them, Spirit were able to bring the rounds back and take the game to OT where they were able to win the crucial rounds with donk multi fragging most rounds in OT. Going into Dust2 a map up, Spirit were able again to take G2 to OT where, this time, they were unable to finish those kills and secure the much needed rounds, G2 were able to end this one a solid 16-13 in their favour. This left Ancient as the decider map. Ancient is one of the better maps for Spirit but in a crazy turn of events, G2 were able to steam roll one of the best teams in the world and incredible 13-1! They eliminate Spirit from BLAST London 2025 and see themselves in to the playoffs.
