Day 5 of BLAST London 2025 concludes with the departure of more teams that have been eliminated here in the BLAST Open. Remaining teams will have to battle another day to determine their fate in the tournament.

Fnatic vs GamerLegion
Fnatic and GamerLegion were the first teams to go at it in their elimination game to see who would be exiting the tournament. GamerLegion have had some incredible games lately, however, they could not get those final rounds in to close out games. They lost to Fnatic 2-0 in the series, losing both maps 13-11. This inevitably has led to their swift elimination from the tournament. Fnatic will now play M80 in their qualification game to London.

M80 vs Na’Vi
M80 vs Na’Vi were the next elimination up on the schedule. In the first map of Ancient. Na’Vi looked a bit lost. They let M80 roll over them on most rounds. They ended up losing the first map 13-9, going into map 2 being that crucial map down. However, they were able to show what they are capable of, winning Train a nice 13-7 taking us to the decider map of Inferno. Inferno was a battle of back and forth rounds for both sides. In the end, M80 got those last two crucial rounds securing their 2-1 victory over a very shaky looking Na’Vi. Na’Vi are now eliminated early from a tournament for the third time in a row. They might have to make some changes and shake the roster around a bit after these lack luster results as of lately.

Spirit vs Team Liquid
Next up was an all important game for Liquid as they took on Team Spirit in their elimination game. On the first map of Dust2, Liquid were able to take Spirit all the way to OT but could not quite get the finishing rounds to close it out, giving the win over to Spirit. After that, they met on Mirage were Liquid looked sloppy for the importance of this game in VRS aspects and the tournament itself. However, they let Spirit get away with those crucial rounds leading to their 2-0 defeat, ultimately eliminating them from the tournament and giving them a hard time with VRS for the upcoming Budapest Major.

FlyQuest vs G2 Esports
FlyQuest and G2 were the final teams to go head to head in their elimination game here at BLAST London. FlyQuest were really not playing their best on Mirage, only being able to scoop up a total of 4 rounds. Their T side was shocking, leading them to loss that map. Going into map 2, G2 came off the line on all cylinders. They shut down FlyQuest easily and IGL Hunter was able to read them like a book. On pistol round, G2 had no players on B and 4 A. FlyQuest went A, lost the bomb and lost all confidence. They lost this map 13-6 leading to their elimination from BLAST London 2025.
