Previous Study:
The University of Sheffield has already done a study on CS2 players cognitive abilities. However, the previous study was aimed at looking at the decision making capabilities of non CS players to CS players. In short, the study concluded that Counter-Strike players were faster at decision making than people who do not play Counter-Strike. The study revealed that higher skilled players were faster to make correct decisions and take action than lower skilled players. They also suggest that the findings:
Findings could be useful outside of gaming – e.g. to support cognitive care and development in people who work in high pressure environments, such as doctors, nurses, air traffic controllers and financial traders, where fast, accurate decision-making is critical
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the study could reveal startling discoveries in the damage or performance enhancing abilities of opening cases on cognitive functions of Human beings. Once the study is published we will review and update.
