The MongolZ and Aurora battled it out here to see who would be crowned the champions of the Esports World Cup 2025. After both sides struggling to acquire tier 1 trophies and make deep runs in tournaments, they finally meet here to see who will do it for the first time. In the first map of Mirage, the game was very back and forth, both teams acquiring rounds from force buys. At 11-10, Aurora felt the pressure, leaving their A site hit from connector until the last 10 seconds where, they were then hunter after time, taking no money into the next round. Somehow. they were able to bring it back and both teams went to OT where The MongolZ were able to close it out 16-14, giving them a 1-0 advantage in the best of five. Going into Dust2, again, the game was a game of rounds back and forth. Senzu was able to get a 4k deagle play on long, breaking the economy of Aurora. The MongolZ were able to close this map out as well, in a great 13-9 fashion, giving them the upper hand of being 2 maps up against Aurora. Going into The MongolZ match-point on Nuke, they gave Aurora no space. It was as if Aurora had succumbed to their fate and allowed all The MongolZ to dominate. The ended up beating Aurora 13-4 on Nuke, crowning them Champions of the Esports World Cup 2025!
