StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025 Day 1 has come to a close here in Budapest. We witness some upsets, great plays and reverse sweeps all in a days Counter-Strike. We have a summarised rundown of todays games.

B8 vs Parivision

The first game of the day was played between that of B8 and Parivision. Both teams were able to battle head to head taking each other to overtime where unfortunately for B8 they let slip and sacrificed their win to Parivision. Going into map two of Inferno, B8 looked sloppy losing again to Parivision, this time a relatively easy 13-7 giving Parivision a 2-0 series win over B8. B8 now move to Lower round 1 and Parivison fight in the Upper semi-finals.

Ninjas in Pyjamas vs OG Esports

Ninjas in Pyjamas took on OG Esports in their opening round game. Putting up a great opposition to NIP, OG just couldn’t seem to win the much needed crucial rounds allowing NIP to stomp over them in the series a swift 2-0 in the series. This leaves OG dropping to the Lower round 1 games already and sends NIP into the Upper semi-finals.

Passion UA vs Gentle Mates

Another opening round banger was between PassionUA and Gentle Mates. Gentle Mates had a rough start to the series losing to PassionUA a very convincing 13-4. The loss didn’t seem to affect Gentle Mates too much as they were able to take their opponents all the way to 13-10 where they unfortunately lost the series 2-0. This sends PassionUA to the Upper semi-finals and leaves Gentle Mates to fight in the Lower round 1 games.

Na’Vi vs 9INE

Natus Vincere (Na’Vi) took on a very strong looking 9INE. After allowing 9INE to take the first map of Ancient away from them, Na’Vi were able to reverse sweep the side a solid 13-4 on Nuke and 13-8 on Inferno, securing their spot in the Upper semi-finals and sending 9INE to battle in the trenches of the lower bracket.
