After todays game between 9INE and Fnatic, to secure the very last space in the StarLadder Budapest Major, we finally have all 32 teams locked and confirmed for attendance to battle and compete for that almighty trophy in Budapest.

23 teams out of the 32 teams that attended the BLAST Austin Major 2025 will also be in attendance at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. Parivision, Red Candids and The Huns Esports will be attending their first ever Major, starting off with a great one set in the heart of Hungary.

Teams will play in three stages like previous Majors with these teams attending Stage 1:

Astralis have finally made it to their first-ever CS2 Major. This ends their streak of five missed Majors in a row. The StarLadder Budapest Major will be their first appearance since the Antwerp 2022 Major.

Finally, Stage 3 looks like this:

The playoff stage of the Major will be played in December after StarLadder announced it’s return to the CS2 circuit with an incredible Major held in Budapest during December. The top 32 teams will attend, with 16 days of pure Counter-Strike action. $1.25M prize pool, with the playoffs being played during the 11th to the 14th of December. The long rumoured and anticipated tournament will take place at the MVM Dome, that has a capacity of 20,000 people!
