What happened from map two to map three, you guys played incredible on Mirage. It just didn’t seem to transfer to the final map. Do you know what happened? What went wrong?
We were a little bit timid coming into map three. We didn’t really prep as much for Inferno as we did for the other two. We just kinda have a slow start on T-side Inferno, our CT side in general is better on most maps especially Inferno. If we get a good start on CT we are typically better on that map. Just didn’t really get into the game there.
You were able to get an ACE with the dualies on Ancient when you were down on the half. Did that install a bit of confidence back into the team?
Yeah I think so. I think winning a pistol on that map is really important because the forces aren’t as strong as they are on other maps. I think it definitely helped the boys come back a little bit. Obviously later in the half there were other issues, but that strong start definitely helped.
You guys were able to take a map of Vitality, beat VP, beat Na’Vi, beat Fnatic and take a map off MOUZ. That must feel amazing in this tournament alone. Did you come into this game thinking that after all those wins that you could beat MOUZ?
Yeah honestly, we came into this game high confidence, there was really no reason why we couldn’t beat them after everyone that we played close. Obviously played Vitality really close, MOUZ are about equal to them right now I would say so I think playing them close again it’s good but obviously map three we fell short.
Do you think that we will be seeing more of M80 at the playoffs?
I think it is definitely possible. This could be more of a honeymoon type of thing since we just acquired HexT, but honestly the way we have been playing really well, I think it only gets harder from here though. I think going from LAN back to online CS is a bit of a shaky switch again, but hopefully we just keep this form up going into the Major.
