Day 2 of Stage 2 at IEM Cologne 2025 has concluded with some incredible games being played today. We have a full rundown of Playoff teams, teams eliminated and all recaps of games below.

MOUZ vs Liquid

In the first game of the day MOUZ took on the side of Liquid. MOUZ looked incredible in their opening map going 10-2 in the first half with everyone on the lineup playing well. Over in on the Liquid side, Twistzz and NAF struggled to put numbers up both getting 2 kills in the first half. Liquid were able to bring it back, but MOUZ closed it out beating the side 2:0 in the series.

Spirit vs HEROIC

Spirit took on HEROIC, who looked strong in Stage 1. In the first map of Ancient, HEROIC were able to take Spirit all the way to OT where Spirit took the map away from HEROIC. Going into Nuke, HEROIC put up a good fight once again, however the side of Spirit were just playing better and closed the map 13-8 securing their 2:0 win in the series.

Falcons vs The MongolZ

Falcons took on the Mongolian side of The MongolZ in their best of three in Stage 2 at Cologne. The Falcons were unable to secure a single map against the Mongolians. Young star Kyousuke was playing very well for Falcons but was unable to carry the team to victory. The Falcons now need to play another game to determine their fate in Cologne. The MongolZ are now heading to the Playoffs in the Lanxess Arena for the first time after 3 attempts before!

GamerLegion vs 3DMAX

A very very strong looking GamerLegion took on a poor looking 3DMAX. However, in a turn of events, 3DMAX were able to reverse sweep GamerLegion in a crazy quadruple OT. GamerLegion are now eliminated from IEM Cologne, while 3DMAX have another day left to fight for playoffs.

Vitality vs G2

Vitality took on G2 in their advancement game to playoffs. Vitality smacked G2 on Inferno and finished the job on Train allowing them to advance to playoffs in the Lanxess.G2 will have to play another game to determine if they pack their bags and exit Cologne.

FURIA vs Astralis

FURIA was last to take on Astralis. In this very dominant series, FURIA obliterated Astralis 2:0 going 13-3 and 13-4 respectively. Astralis could not find their feet on either map and are now eliminated from IEM Cologne 2025.
