Fissure Playground Day 4 has concluded in Serbia. We see two teams eliminated and two team advancing to the almighty playoffs. The rest are left battling for their playoff run, or inevitable elimination from Fissure Playground 2.

Virtus.Pro vs Lynn Vision

In this elimination game, a struggling Virtus.Pro took on the Asian side of Lynn Vision. Going all the way to OT on Dust2. Virtus.Pro were able to close that game out and defeat Lynn Vision on Train securing their 2:0 win in the series. This leaves the fighting another day and eliminating Lynn Vision from the tournament.

TYLOO vs The MongolZ

Both Asian squads, TYLOO and The MongolZ were next on the agenda. TYLOO closed out Mirage in their favour, however The MongolZ were able to reverse sweep the side beating them 13-10 on Overpass and 13-7 on Ancient to secure the series win. The MongolZ are now 1:1 and TYLOO are 1:2 fighting in an elimination match.

Liquid vs HEROIC

HEROIC and Liquid were the next elimination game of the day. The two teams have had an awful run here at Fissure. Liquid, on Ancient, were able to finish the map 13-8 and lead in the series. HEROIC took the second map of Dust2 13-8. Going into the decider of Mirage, both teams were able to get double digits. However, Liquid out of nowhere, were able to clutch up and steal the map to get the series win. Liquid eliminate HEROIC from Fissure and play again for another chance at elimination.

3DMAX vs GamerLegion

3DMAX took on GamerLegion to see who would be sent to an elimination game in their next game. The first map of Overpass went to OT with 3DMAX being able to snatch that victory away from the side of GamerLegion. GamerLegion, however, were able to reverse sweep the French side, beating them 13-10 and 13-9 on Inferno and Dust2 respectively. 3DMAX will now fight in an elimination game and GamerLegion for a spot in the playoffs.

Legacy vs G2 Esports

Brazilian roster Legacy took on recent BLAST London winners G2 Esports in their 1:1 game. G2 stomped Legacy 2-0 in the series. They defeated them 13-2 on Train and again 13-7 on Ancient to secure the quick victory. This sends G2 to the 2:1 bracket with a chance at playoffs and sends legacy to an elimination game.

Falcons vs FaZe

Falcons and FaZe took on each other to secure their top spot in the playoffs. Both teams played incredibly well on Nuke, with the rounds being quite back and forth. Fortunately for Falcons they were able to close Nuke for themselves 13-11 against FaZe. Going into Dust2. FaZe looked slightly lost, whereas Falcons came off the line on all cylinders beating FaZe 13-6 on Dust2 to secure their spot in the playoffs and leave FaZe to fight another day.

Aurora vs FURIA

The next playoff spot game was against a strong looking Aurora and a very strong looking FURIA. Unfortunately for FURIA, Aurora were able to beat them 2-0 in the series and secure that playoff spot for themselves. FURIA will now fight another day to see if they can reach playoffs or have to play a third and final game.

Astralis vs paIN

Astralis and paIN went head to head in their 1:1 bracket. On Mirage, paIN smashed Astralis out the park beating them 13-5 to lead the series. Going into Inferno, Astralis looked much much better. Unfortunately for them they could not close the game out in OT and allowed paIN to take the series away from them sending them to an elimination game and propelling paIN to the 2:1 bracket with a chance at playoffs.
