The MongolZ vs Liquid

The MongolZ took on Liquid in their semi-final game here at Fissure to determine who would be heading to the finals to loft the Fissure Playground 2 trophy! Coming into this head to head strong, The MongolZ dominated Liquid on Dust2 a sensational 13-3. However, going into the second map of Mirage, Liquid were able to hit The MongolZ with their own karma, beating them 13-5 on Mirage to take us to a third map. Unfortunately for Liquid, they could not carry over the momentum from the last map and The MongolZ swept them away 13-5 on Ancient to secure their place in the grand final of Fissure. Liquid are now eliminated.

FURIA vs Falcons

FURIA and Falcons, two of the best teams out there at the moment, went head to head to see who would be heading to that stage once more to possibly lift the trophy or who would be seen with a devastating exit from the tournament. Train was the opening map and was a very close affair. The rounds were very back and forth and this led to the game going into OT. This is where FURIA were able to close it out and go one map up in the series. On Nuke, again it was a close close game, however, FURIA just knew how to get those crucial rounds to scrape a win over Falcons. They won the series a straight 2-0 and join The MongolZ on stage tomorrow to see who will be crowned champions of Fissure. Falcons are now eliminated from the tournament.
