G2 Esports vs The MongolZ

G2 Esports and The MongolZ went head to head in their opening quarter final game here in Serbia. In a close back and forth match on Mirage, The MongolZ were able to just close that out 13-11 in their favour. Going into Dust2, map 2, G2 looked a bit stronger finding their footing and taking that map away from The MongolZ 13-7. This left Ancient as the decider. The MongolZ were able to breeze away in the second half and eliminate G2 from the tournament and advance themselves to the semis after a 13-9 win and 2:1 series win over G2 Esports.

Aurora vs Liquid

Aurora and Liquid were the next teams to go head to head to see who would be advancing and who would be going home empty handed. In a crazy turn of events, Liquid came into this match up on fire. They were able to demolish the side of Aurora on both maps Mirage and Inferno 13-9 and 13-8 respectively. They eliminate the Turkish members and advance themselves into the semi-finals of Fissure.

Coming out the gates strong, FURIA were able to scrape victory over Astralis on the first map of Train 13-9. Going into map 2, Nuke, Astralis seemed to step up their game taking FURIA all the way to double overtime.
