Vitality took on the Falcons after both being rejected a spot in the Grand Final of the Esports World Cup. They were set to play each other today to decide who would be positioned 3rd in the CS2 Esports World Cup. This 3rd place decider match was not just that. It was actually a huge game for both teams, both playing for a $1,000,000 club championship bonus.

Vitality vs Falcons

In the first map of Inferno, Vitality looked back inform. They were able to accumulate all the rounds in regulation beating Falcons 13-9 on that map, giving them a 1-0 advantage in this decider. However, Falcons came back and obliterated the French side. They demolished Vitality 13-3 on Train and 13-3 on Nuke securing their Club Championship spot and getting the organization $1,000,000. Vitality did not look like their former selves from earlier this year, they really struggled to even make any sort of impact after the first map.
