donk is recognised as one of the best players in recent times within the Counter-Strike scene. Many people consider him the GOAT of CS2 over the likes of Zywoo. Some people even consider him the GOAT over s1mple in Counter-Strike overall. However, he does not recognise himself as one of the greats. He was asked the tasking question of who he really recognises as a GOAT of Counter-Strike if he does not think that he is.

In a recent interview on BLAST.tv, donk was asked: If you’re not the GOAT, who is? And what will it take for you to get to that level? This was his reply.

Everyone chooses the GOAT that he likes. We can take ZywOo as the most stable player in CS. We can take s1mple as the player with the highest peak of all time.
I like them both. I like that s1mple was a huge difference maker in NAVI and I also like the fact that ZywOo is super stable. So it’s a hard question.
I think I would like to choose s1mple, because I remember watching him play and hard carrying NAVI back in 2018, so he inspired me to play CS seriously. I think I need time and results. I want to become the most titled player in CS.

In essence, the young but notorious riffler, is saying that Zywoo is the most consistent player in Counter-Strike, as he is able to put up incredible numbers in every tournament he plays. Great game sense, awareness and most importantly mechanical aim and reactions. However, he says that s1mple is the overall GOAT, as he himself was able to carry Na’Vi to multiple trophies and a Major on his own back in 2018. He goes on to reveal that s1mple actually inspired the young player to take the competitive scene more serious.
