CS2 NEW Armory Update

Valve have released the latest Counter-Strike Armory update, adding new charms, new stickers, new community maps and new AWP scoping. This short article showcases some of the additions they have added in the latest update to CS2.

New CS2 Armory Community Maps:

via Steam

4 new maps have been introduced to non-premier game modes. Golden and Palacio have been added to Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch modes, while Rooftop and Transit have been added to Wingman. The removal of the previous community maps has occurred apart from Agency which has stayed.

New CS2 Armory Charms:

via Steam

New charms have been released alongside the new community maps, with the introduction of Dr Boom charms with various patters. With the Dr Boom charms, the regular charms have come back with different characters and patters which help change colour etc. Video below from @Oskarr1239 on X shows the changes in each charm from pattern id:

Along with the charms, the previous sticker collection was removed in place of the new 2025 Community Stickers shown above.

New CS2 Armory In-game Mechanics:

The AWP scope was the first noticeable change that Valve had done in this update. Valve has finally fixed the pixel offset for the sniper scope which was very noticeable while playing competitively. They also adjusted the scope to show inaccuracy within the scope itself, which explains some shots looking dead on but being slightly off your target.

Another mechanic that was introduced was a new spectator camera that flies through the air in 3rd person to the closest player to your last player spectated and looks something like this:

This can be turned off in the setting however and does not effect any competitive game modes.
