The final day of Stage 1 at the Major in Austin has come to an end and we say goodbye to some more teams and congratulate others for their progression to Stage 2. We will go into another breakdown on all scores and bracket updates in the article below for the BLAST Austin Major 2025!

Lynn Vision vs NRG

The first game of the day to fight their way into Stage 2 of the Major was Lynn Vision and NRG. NRG, being an NA org were favored to win this match-up but unfortunately are eliminated, losing 2:0 in the series. The first map of Dust2 was incredibly incredibly close with an extreme 22-20 score-line! Lynn Vision progress to Stage 2 and NRG are now eliminated from the tournament.

Wildcard vs Legacy

The second match-up of the day was between Wildcard and the Brazilian side Legacy. After Legacy not making the tournament and being brought in after Bestia’s disqualification from the tournament, they have proved to everyone that they deserve to be here. They took down Wildcard a convincing 2:0 in the series and heading straight to Stage 2 of the Major. This means however, that Wildcard are now eliminated from the Major here in Austin.

FlyQuest vs TYLOO

The third battle to see who would be eliminated from the Major in Austin was between FlyQuest and TYLOO. The Aussie side started the tournament with a great record but unfortunately after today’s dominance from TYLOO they have been eliminated, sending the Chinese side to Stage 2 along with fellow Chinese team Lynn Vision. The post-match interview with player ‘Jee’ is one that everyone should watch, where he reacts to teammate ‘JamYoung’ getting a ACE on pistol round to send them on their way to victory.
