Another day of Counter-Strike in Austin and we say goodbye to some more teams and congratulate others. Another breakdown from us on all scores and bracket updates in the article below for the BLAST Austin Major 2025!

Stage 1 – Day 3

Complexity vs TYLOO

One of the first elimination games of the day was between Complexity with their stand-in and TYLOO. TYLOO were able to best Complexity in the series a straight 2-0 to eliminate the NA organization. TYLOO now fight another day to progress to stage 2 of the Major!

Imperial vs Legacy

The two Brazilian sides fought it out to see who would be packing their bags to return to South America. In the first map Legacy were able to destroy Imperial 13-2, with the half-time score being 12-0! In map 2, Imperial almost done what Legacy had provided to them and won the map 13-5, leaving both teams to rely on one map for survival in the tournament. Legacy however, were able to clutch up and take down their opponents 13-4 securing their survival in Austin and sending Imperial home.

OG vs NRG

OG take on the other NA team in the tournament. OG played an incredible game with their IGL calling incredibly well while also fragging like a star-player. This performance secured OG a 2-0 series win over NRG sending NRG to the 2-2 bracket to fight for survival and boosting OG straight to Stage 2!

Chinggis vs Lynn Vision

The match-up that not many people was expecting was this game, a lot of the CS community had placed the Warriors in their 0-3 pick. Unfortunately for them they were beat 2-1 in the series by Lynn Vision meaning their run in the Major has come to an end. They are now eliminated, leaving Lynn Vision to play one more game to decide their fate.

BetBoom vs Wildcard

BetBoom have secured their way into Stage 2 of the Major after beating Wildcard 2-0 and going 3-1 in the bracket. This leaves Wildcard to fight tomorrow to decide if they leave or join BB in the Stage 2 of Austin.

FlyQuest vs Nemiga

An upset that no-one expected was for FlyQuest to be beat by Nemiga. FlyQuest have had an amazing run in the Major so far and coming up against not such a strong team, they were beat a straight 2-0. To give props to Nemiga, they played incredibly well against the Aussies. FlyQuest now have to play one more game to decide their future here at the Major, with Nemiga heading straight to Stage 2.

Conclusion

Another great day of Counter-Strike with some incredible plays and unlikely upsets, we say bye to Imperial, Complexity and Chinggis Warriors and see BetBoom, Nemiga and OG heading straight to Stage 2, leaving the other teams to battle it out to join them in games tomorrow.
