The playoff stage of the BLAST Austin Major is here and with the conclusion of the quarter-finals day 2 today, we say goodbye to two teams that have battled it out to get here. Here at CS2 Grove we have another recap from the Major.

Na’Vi vs Vitality

The first quarter-final of the day was between Vitality and the side of Na’Vi. Na’Vi have had a rough couple of months getting results and working as a team. They were bested by Vitality 2-0 in the series and are now eliminated from the Austin Major. After the game ‘Aleksib’ said that this would be the last time this roster would play together for Na’Vi.

FaZe vs The MongolZ

The second quarter-final was between FaZe and The MongolZ. FaZe really struggled to get any ground in this series, losing to The MongolZ 2-0 in the series. FaZe now depart the Austin Major, with S1mple getting a lot of backlash for being the lowest rated player of the quarter-finals. His time on FaZe or in the CS2 competitive scene is still in question.
