Aleksib interview after 2:0 win over The MongolZ in the Quarterfinals of IEM Cologne 2025:

Congratulations on your win against The MongolZ. You went to triple OT on map one, you got three map points. What was going through your head at that point?

I think on the first time we had 3 map points, I felt like it was going to be an easy close out. They ended up making the comeback and you know at that point your kind of feeling like… did we lose the momentum now like are they going to be in control going into the next half. But the boys didn’t give up and I felt like ever since we got into the overtime that we should be in control now. I feel like we were the team on overtime that kept the pace up and kept winning more rounds and overall I’m just happy we closed it out.

Makazee had a rough start, do you think that was just the nerves of playing first time on the stage?

Could be the nerves could be anything, I feel like for a young guy like that getting to the best stage ever I feel like he was feeling it at first. Inferno t side is never easy. At the same time, once he got into the comfort zone, we went to the CT side and he got some action got some kills under his belt. I feel like he was in control after.

Ancient was a great map. You played with a lot of confidence on Ancient, do you think you will carry that confidence with you tomorrow when you play Spirit in the Semis?

Could be the case to be honest, but the thing is, every time they have been a hard team for us but we have a new squad, we have the new motivation. I think we can make it happen.
