Vitality Win IEM Melbourne 2025 and Secure ESL Grand Slam!

Vitality have defeated Falcons at IEM Melbourne 2025 in a Bo5 to crown themselves champions and collect their ESL Grand Slam prize of $1,000,000! This cements Vitality as the greatest team in Counter-Strike right now and confirms a Vitality ERA.

Falcons did not let the Vitality plow push them to the side, they put up a good fight to try and end Vitality's ERA right here, right now. After being unsuccessful, they should be proud of their efforts making it to another Grand Final and putting up a good score and fight against the best team in the world.

After winning this event and lifting the trophy, Vitality also secures the ESL Grand Slam which grants them a $1,000,000 prize. This is Vitality's first Grand Slam win and makes ropz the second player to claim the Grand Slam twice, along with ex teammate Twistzzz.

Vitality thrashed Falcons on map 1 (mirage), beating them 13-2:

Falcons went on to beat Vitality in map 2 in overtime and Vitality took over Falcons on Train (map 3), even after multiple clutches and 4k's from Falcons. Mirage was an extremely close game with Falcons taking a heavy lead in the first half.

On the final map, Nuke, Falcons were leading 9-3 in the half and were on match point for 6 consecutive rounds but could not pull that final round, allowing Vitality to bring it back to 3 overtimes and steal the map away from them!

After all this, Vitality secure IEM Melbourne and ESL Grand Slam!
